The Drop Shadow FX option has a couple of cool features:
- When you are using the Layer Style interface you can click on the shadow in the Layer you are work on and move it around.
- You can save the Shadow onto it’s own Layer; making it so much easier to resize, rotate, transform etc. Right click on the Effects part of your Layer and select ‘Creat Layer’ (I have added an arrow to the screenshot). Then your shadow is saved onto a new Layer.
The Create Layer option does not appear in the current version of Photoshop– at least I do not find it. Any suggestions?
