Marina Gondra

Born in Bilbao, Spain, Marina has loved art since she was a child. She began taking pictures in her spare time as a teenager, but decided to study art in college, specializing in painting. Even during that time, photography remained an important part of her life, offering a reprieve from the stresses of day-to-day life. Today, she often mixes the two mediums in her artwork; painting directly onto her photographs to create the effects she wants. She learned Photoshop entirely on her own through online tutorials. Her advice to those just starting out is to practice a lot, but also remember to take time out to find inspiration.
