I’m really excited about these upcoming cycles in learning about Dforce. The amount of possibilities are endless and I’m going to start you from the ground and work your way up to creating very unique things using Dforce that does not involve clothing. This cycle will introduce you to all the dials and what each of those are used for. The more you know about what dials to move the more control you will have over clothing simulations and creating other objects.
Video 1 will take you through the Dforce simulation dials. Please grab the notes supplied in order to write your own additional notes so that it will be easier for you to try some of the dials later. I will follow the order of the notes going through the videos.
Video 2 will introduce the freeze simulation dial and the dreaded clear simulation button and will show this demonstrated on a multi-layer outfit.
Video 3 will show you the Dforce simulation parameters under the surfaces tab and what some of these parameters can be used for. You will also learn how to make tight fitting clothing looser and vice versa.
Video 4 will demonstrate the Dforce wind node and how to use this wonderful tool.
