Katie Watersell

As a small child, Katie Watersell saw a Disney cartoon and dreamed of becoming an animator. She started drawing her own comic books with pencil and ink. After university, she learned digital drawing on the job. During this initial exposure to Photoshop, she received a lot of tips and instruction from her coworkers. Then Katie’s story as a digital artist took off when a friend bought her a Wacom Tablet. Now she creates thought-provoking works using poignant ideas and relevant, intelligent color palettes.
