Quick Tip from Full Tutorial:
Painting Extra Strands of Hair.
Making an image more dynamic is all in the details. Jenny has added some extra strands of hair; painting each strand in the direction that the wind would be blowing the models hair in. It is this attention to detail that makes such a difference to the impact of an image.

This was a pretty good tutorial. It was a little different from others in that it does not show the layers, so it can take some trouble-shooting – which is a good learning exercise in of itself. 🙂 When using the colour codes, I found my colours to be a little different but still interesting. I found this particularly around Step 32, when creating the sparks. Steps 26-29 colour the overall scene – my results were different, but I was happy. I’ll need to work more on that technique. Step 27 calls for a Gradient Map – I am using CC 2018, which has a slightly different scheme. Again, good for troubleshooting and learning Photoshop.
