The January, 2018 results are in!
This round challenged Shift Art members to enter only B&W images. Using the images provided, the results were incredibly creative! We saw a great range of styles, from very artistic creations, to outstanding storytelling, to hilarious composites. Thanks to everyone who participated!
This month had 188 qualified entries, shattering the previous record of just over 100! Although this is an incredible number of participants, it made things particularly difficult for myself and fellow judges Caloline Julia Moore, and past featured artist Gail Edwards. With so many entries, we increased the number of points for each judge to distribute allowing us to recognize more entries for their excellence and creativity.
After a very close race, Lonely by Jeanett Flynn, came out on top with the most points. Congratulations Jeanett Flynn!
Jeanett’s piece will be used as the background image on the front page of Shift Art for a month! Go check it out!
Big thanks to Creative B&W Photo Artistry for providing prizes!
