The May, 2018 results are in!
The challenge this month was to celebrate kids making art and the role art plays in the lives of children. The creativity and messages displayed in the entries below is outstanding! Huge congratulations to everyone who shared their work in this challenge!
The judging was quite unusual this time around. There was a noticeable drop in the number of participants this month, but the number of entries that were awarded points by the judges was huge! You will notice how large the Also Noticed group is this month. This is a true testament to the amazing quality of art we see here month after month!
Color My World by Julie Denning, is the winner of this month. Congratulations Julie!
Julie’s winning piece will be used as the background image on the front page of Shift Art for a month!
Shift Art pledged to donate $1 for each qualified entry which resulted in a $86 donation to The Dreaming Zebra Foundation.
If you would like to support this wonderful organization dedicated to provide opportunities for children to create art, regardless of difficult circumstances, please consider donating to The Dreaming Zebra Foundation. If you have already donated, thank you!
